As a Senior DRAM Equipment Engineer within the Lab Operations team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for researching and developing new technology to integrate into validation and datacenter labs. This includes leading cross functional project teams to research, identify, and develop equipment, processes, and infrastructure to meet our module level validation testing needs. As Micron is on the forefront of memory technology, this team is charged with researching and developing new lab, datacenter, and equipment solutions to maintain our competitive advantage. The equipment and lab spaces we manage enables global Micron teams to support next generation memory technologies.
Responsibilities and tasks include:
Manage project timelines for equipment and lab space readiness to align with cross-functional team expectations
Develop pathfinding strategies that align with validation and product roadmaps
Drive highly technical projects around validation and data center lab space equipment, hardware, and facilitation
Develop processes for lab operations and partner with automation teams to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain an understanding of Micron products and customer platforms
Qualifications and skills include:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
5+ years of engineering experience
A clear understanding of general lab processes, datacenter infrastructure, servers, test chambers, and other validation testing equipment
Highly effective collaboration and project management skills
Excellent analytical, analysis, and problem-solving skills
Adaptable to a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with multifaceted demands
