Work closely with CDSEM equipment vendors on continuous improvement of software/hardware and development of new CDSEM measurement techniques. Work closely with process development and process integration engineers to optimize CDSEM measurements for multiple device process flows and layer stacks. Collaborate with Metrology sustaining team on process maturity projects. Drive operation efficiency. Develop applications on next generation processes and technologies within Fab 4 and qualification for technology transfers to production fabs. Perform evaluations of new CDSEM metrology tools to determine lowest COO solutions with the highest accuracy and precision for roadmap in R&D and high volume manufacturing. Collaborate with Process Development and Integration Engineering to provide CDSEM recommendations for experiments. Interact and manage vendor participation in resolving tool performance issues. Identify, track, and work with vendors to resolve bugs, performance issues, or develop new applications. Coordinate with other groups to assure consistency in metrology approaches. Coordinate and represent metrology in functional groups outside of primary workstation, such as part type representation or large team productivity programs. Assure the quality of the data in assigned areas meet the processing requirements to help with decreased cycle times and defect reduction. Demonstrate clear and organized setup, execution, and analysis of experiments and or projects. Make decisions and plan based on data response and continue to work a problem until the data presents an intelligent solution. Interact globally on problem solving, transfers, technology alignment, and efficiency improvements.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Materials Engineering or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or 5 years of experience in an Engineer - Metrology - DRAM/EM-related occupation.
