Micron Technology, Inc. Engineer Intern- Photomask BEOL Process Engineer in Boise, Idaho

Projects may include, but are not limited to :

  • Lead and participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities to ensure flawless process execution.

  • Monitor tool health and proactively respond to trends and out-of-spec tool and process conditions to maintain world-class manufacturing standards.

  • Research, develop, and implement new processes and techniques that support Micron's reticle roadmap, contributing to the company's ambitious growth goals.

  • Engage with equipment suppliers to improve the capabilities of our current systems, ensuring we stay at the forefront of technology.

  • Discover areas for process improvement and propose projects to address these gaps, utilizing your established problem-solving abilities.

  • Provide valuable insights into tool and process capabilities, advising other teams on the most appropriate techniques for data collection based on requirements.

  • Collaborate with R&D and high-volume manufacturing teams to support improvement projects through data analysis and experimentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams.

  • Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal guidance to deliver exceptional results.

  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills to determine optimal solutions and make data-driven decisions.

Education and Experience:

  • Must have completed Junior year in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or Optics, with a strong academic track record.
