As an EMC Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will manage ElectroMagnetic Compliance (EMC) testing and certifications, including designing testing setups and fixtures to support and arrange testing of Micron products through Qualifications, Characterizations, and EMI performance evaluations, and initiating and driving analysis and testing programs to determine the electromagnetic emissions and/or electromagnetic immunity of Micron products. You will develop test methodologies and systems to ensure products can be tested to meet customer, compliance, and various regulatory standards. You will work closely with Business Units (BU’s), Micron engineering teams, and external engineering teams to ensure that test solutions are developed meet the needs of the customer and can be delivered on time. You will review, postprocess, and analyze EMI test and characterization data to help identify a benchmark and understand Micron product EMI performance, ensure hardware and software are enabled and readily available, and support the testing and measurement of various Micron devices. You will consult with internal and external engineering groups to provide solutions to EMC problems, solve and find solutions to a variety of Micron product EMI/EMC problems. Proven ability to work in a laboratory environment, applying various laboratory instrumentation equipment such as spectrum analyzers is necessary. Experience with and familiarity of various EMC industry regulatory standards is highly desired.
