Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be the single owner for site inventory management, performing DIO optimization through Excess & Obsolescence, Reserve, Scrap disposition with Inventory Team, Material/Site Planners, Warehouse & Finance.

  • Serve as the main contact for site-specific initiatives, projects, and critical issues.

  • Be the site audit SPS (Quality audit, customer audit, and compliance audit) process owner for “Manage Materials”.

  • Drive Warehouse Capacity readiness to support production ramp through collaboration with Warehouse team and Materials Planning and Manufacturing.

  • Lead “Manage Source to Pay” metrics performance and status update in site staff meetings.

  • Provide weekly WOS (BOM and Indirect) status update reporting, including NPI materials. Attend site-specific demand vs. supply review.

  • Own the Incoming Quality issue resolution, GR, Invoice & Pricing discrepancy reconciliation.

  • Proliferate BKM and drive improvement.

  • Be the subject matter expert for procurement systems, tools, and processes.

  • Support leaders to work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan and calibrate on global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites.

  • Provide insights and drive procurement initiatives and efficiency improvement.

Connect with Customers, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Supply Assurance Strategies

  • Fulfill customer needs while providing justification for the cost of ownership.

  • Share strategic goals, supply fulfillment plans, initiatives, and targets with customers, suppliers, and global procurement teams.

  • Manage relationships with senior executives at sites.

  • Initiate and maintain effective communication with internal and external customers.

Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Supply Assurance by building relationships with customers, suppliers, and understanding industry trends.

  • Assist in implementing or augmenting processes.

  • Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement.

  • Encourage ongoing collaboration with procurement category teams to ensure a coordinated supply assurance approach.

  • Maintain positive relationships and resolve conflicts with collaborators from both internal and external backgrounds.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in:

  • Engineering

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Related field of study

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more of the following: Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving approach and skills.

  • Possess communication and influencing ability and a persuasive advocate.

  • Strong influencing and relationship leadership skills.

  • Innovative and teamwork-focused.

  • Able to work independently as well as with a cross-functional team.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
