Description
Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is on the lookout for an Accounting Manager to join our team in Boise, Idaho. This role will involve supervising the company's financial strategy, managing financial accounts, and handling company transactions. You will also be expected to manage the company's debts, assist with cash flow forecasting, and support financial audits. Hybrid role, primarily on site. No relocation permitted.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and implement the company's financial strategy
• Manage the company's financial accounts, including payroll, budget, cash receipts, and financial assets
• Handle the company's transactions and debts, and assist with cash flow forecasting
• Support financial audits by following proper accounting procedures to achieve financial objectives
• Monitor and analyze financial accounting data, creating financial reports based on this analysis
• Make recommendations to business stakeholders based on financial data
• Conduct variance reporting and partner with the FP& A Director to produce budget reporting
• Review general ledger (GL) and manage accounts receivable (AR) aging and collections
• Oversee month-end processes, including process improvement and preliminary financial statement preparation
• Manage vendor balances and assist with cash management and audit
• Prepare for payroll backup and act as the subject matter expert (SME) for the finance/accounting payroll system
• Assist human resources (HR) as needed with activities requiring collaboration
• Support with creating and maintaining the department's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in partnership with Compliance
• Add and manage Finance department risks as part of the Risk Management Program
• Assist in securing and managing the department's vendor relationships to maximize impact
• Support continuous improvement and maintenance of department's standard operating procedures.

Requirements
• Prior experience in the HealthCare Industry is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as Accounting Manager.
• Proficient in all aspects of Accounting Functions.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Knowledge and experience in Auditing procedures.
• Ability to handle Billing Functions with precision.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite software for accounting processes.
• Demonstrated skills in Cost Accounting practices.
• Capability to Prepare Financial Reports accurately and timely.
• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures.
• Skilled in Cash Flow Analysis to ensure financial stability.
