Our client, a company that provides leading clinical label design, production and management services for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Planner & Scheduler to join their team in Bohemia, NY. Prior experience scheduling within a manufacturing environment is required. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity.

Job Title: Manufacturing Planner & Scheduler

Location: Bohemia, NY

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Whats the Job?

Schedule all manufacturing jobs and equipment for Bohemia with the goal of exceeding customer expectations but keeping in mind internal capabilities. Maintain master schedule via internal system Daily Production Scheduler (DPS) as well as individual department schedules Review and update Ad Tape and internal Booklet and Standard press schedules with accurate and update information, including target and max ship dates Distributes and keeps the "Daily Schedules" up to date on a daily basis utilizing internal proprietary scheduling database. (This includes the updating, printing and handing out of all applicable schedules before 8:30am) Advises department manager of any change in the status of jobs and/or potential problems.

Whats Needed?

High School Diploma 1+ years' experience scheduling within a manufacturing environment Strong proficiency with Excel and/or database management
