Citigroup TTS NAM SBLC Analyst 2 in Bogotá, Colombia

Trade analyst 2 is a hybrid-intermediate position responsible for (I) analyzing, inputting, mitigating, and (II) auditing, correcting, approving Standby Letter of Credits transactions in both FISBLC and ILOC unit. The person in charge must be able to lead, support, and coordinate the communication with the unit and external clients in order to achieve the expectations of the operation unit's workflow established by the bank.

Responsibilities:

  • Keep a positive attitude on your daily activities.

  • Be the role model for junior roles in terms of expertise and seniority for transactions processing, as per local operating procedures.

  • Deliver best-in-class service, according to existing guidelines.

  • Translate customer requirements on actionable items

  • Ensure tracking, accurate and timely resolutions of issues and exception raised

  • Ensure client inquiries are investigated and responded appropriately

  • Support transactional processing for respective Letter of Credit products, review Letter of Credit documents to determine compliance with international and U.S., regulations and standards

  • Propose creative solutions to reduce errors and to ensure adherence to audit and control policies

  • Work as a team; support your teammates when required.

  • Utilize technical knowledge in order to deliver quality service and achieve operating efficiency

  • Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements

  • Ensure attendance to all mandatory classes

  • Responsibility to ensure smooth, error free process flow

  • Provide support to all operational processes as needed

  • Demonstrated competence in related area

  • Participate in testing for new technical features, implementation and training if needed

  • Assist with special reports and projects as needed

Risk and Control

  • Adhere to internal policies to ensure compliance with legal parameters as well as company policies and procedures

  • Maintain performance metrics to track defects, productivity.

  • Assist unit for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit results.

  • Responsibility to ensure smooth, error free process flow

  • Maintain awareness of product changes and system enhancements

  • Understand the procedures and controls required for custody accounts

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related role

  • Proven system development lifecycle skills

  • Proficient understanding of emerging technologies

  • Effective verbal and written skills

  • Effective analytic and presentation skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
