Security Consultant
Microsoft - Sentinel Full Time | Hybrid Model
What will your day-to-day look like?
Advises clients on the technical design, consulting, and implementation of cloud security measures in one or more of the following cloud security disciplines: Identity, Network Security, Secure Workloads, Security Monitoring, etc.
Independently crafts and implements robust public and hybrid cloud architectures in collaboration with clients.
Actively handles and coordinates projects while taking on the technical leadership of internationally positioned project teams for top clients across various industries.
Supports the pre-sales process with expertise in preparing offers.
Actively participates in trade fairs and professional communities, contributing to the ongoing education of the team in security.
What we need to see from you
The skills below will make you successful at this job, but we DO NOT expect to find all of them in every candidate.
In-depth and extensive, customer focused project and presentation experience in the IT security field, particularly in cloud and security architecture.Enjoys and has a strong curiosity about topics related to cybersecurity and cloud security.
Possesses consulting and development experience in several of the following areas:Infrastructure (network, compute, storage) and cloud (Azure), as well as in IoT/OT.Experience with Microsoft services such as Defender for Office 365, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
Has experience or curiosity about topics such as Security Operations Center (SOC), SIEM, Threat Protection, Zero Trust, and cybersecurity.
Has experience or curiosity about regulatory standards (e.g., BSI C5, ISO 2700x, CIS, NIST, etc.) and standard methodologies.
Demonstrates an analytical and problem-solving approach to work.
Ideally holds certificates or has completed further training in cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure Security Technologies (AZ-500).
Industry-specific requirements such as ISO 27001, CIS, BSI C5, and NIST are well understood.
Possesses excellent English language skills.
