Overview

The Quality Assurance Analyst (QAA) ensures high quality in different environments throughout the development lifecycle. Understands the four main QA Activities: planning, execution, monitoring, and implementation.

The QAA can use at least one test design tool, such as TestRail, Jira (ATM), Bugzilla, Quality Center, etc. The QAA should be comfortable working with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, PHP, and Java, know about mobile technologies (e.g., iOS/Android), and be fluent in case management tools like SpiraTest or Testlink.

Responsibilities

Perform daily QA tasks (defect tracking, testing, test case design, etc.). Perform functional testing to ensure products perform according to the specs provided and within established guidelines. Analyze requirements and keep track of the new requirements for the project. Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of the object of testing.

Employ specs/use cases/business rules to understand the software product's scope, requirements, and functionality and to develop test cases/test scripts. Report and track defects and work with superiors to resolve them. Prepare and update QA documents for testing. Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process. Follow test plans and testing processes.

Qualifications

  • Software Engineering Web BS in computer science, Designer degree, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience working with manual testing.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Creative and innovative thinker.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • AEM Experience

Analyst

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of websites, emails, and digital experiences with a focus on creativity.

  • Document defects thoroughly and collaborate with relevant teams for resolution.

  • Exhibit ownership and accountability by managing tasks independently and directing their own work.
