Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is in the hospitality industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage tasks such as processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently process and manage customer credit applications

• Maintain and update customer credit records with high accuracy

• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when required

• Answer billing questions

• Handle phone calls professionally, providing excellent customer service

• Assist in posting payments and answering related questions

• Demonstrate eagerness to learn more about accounting

Requirements

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role within the hospitality industry

• Proficiency in account reconciliation techniques to ensure accurate financial records

• Demonstrated ability to manage accounts receivable, including invoice generation and payment tracking

• Experience in billing procedures, with the ability to manage multiple accounts concurrently

• Knowledge of cash application processes, ensuring payments are applied correctly

• Ability to oversee cash collections, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of debts

• Experience in commercial collections, with a focus on maintaining positive customer relations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis
