Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accountant, located in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is primarily focused on data entry tasks such as entering AP invoices into the system and making journal entries when needed. The workplace is business casual and the chosen candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with dogs. The role requires familiarity with accounting software such as Rent Manager. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process and enter AP invoices into the system

• Handle some journal entries as per company requirements

• Utilize the Rent Manager software for various accounting functions

• Maintain a regular 9-5pm work schedule from Monday to Friday

• Ensure the accuracy of all data entries and journal entries

• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for accounting functions

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Handle check processing tasks efficiently

• Use IBM AS/400 and other accounting software systems as required

• Be comfortable working in a business casual environment with dogs. Requirements • Possess knowledge and proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Acomba software is needed

• Should have skills in CL Programming

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400 is required

• Experience with About Time software is a plus

• Should be able to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Must have experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Should be able to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) efficiently

• Experience in Check Processing is needed.
