Position Specific Description

This role will be located at the Genesis Solar Facility in Blythe, CA.

Individual(s) will support solar site mirror washing to ensure effective mirror reflectivity for power generation. Individuals will be required to operate company machinery (IE: tractors, water trucks and other equipment as required. Mechanical aptitude is preferred. Typical schedule is 8:00pm thru 4:00am. This will vary/change depending on the time of year (season).

Job Overview

The main focus of the job is to perform mirror and HCE tube cleaning. The position is part of a six-man crew. The team will have to be proficient in operating the mirror-washing equipment, including tractor operation, water truck operation, and mirror-washing brush equipment. When mirror wash cannot be accomplished, the team will be utilized to perform site clean-up or minor maintenance on mirror wash equipment.

• Washing of Mirror Panels with mirror washing equipment

• Washing of Heat collecting elements with washing equipment

• Perform minor repairs on washing equipment as needed

The estimated base pay for this position is $37,600.00 to $56,400.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job-related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
