TEKsystems Patient Support Advocate in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania

Position: Patient Support Associate

Location: Blue Bell Pa

Our client is dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and support to the patients. Our Client Support Team (CST) plays a crucial role in ensuring that every customer inquiry is handled with care and efficiency. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Patient Support Associate to join our dynamic team in this newly established department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Contact: Be the first point of contact for all incoming calls. Greet customers professionally, understand their needs, and gather essential information.

  • Assessment of Needs: Evaluate customer inquiries to determine the appropriate department or individual for resolution.

  • Handoff Process: Route calls or inquiries to the correct department, which may involve live transferring, forwarding messages, or logging tickets for follow-up.

  • Documentation: Accurately document every interaction, including the nature of the inquiry, customer details, and the department or individual handling the issue.

  • Clear Handoff Protocol: Follow standardized processes to ensure smooth handoffs and accountability.

  • Accountability Tracking: Track adherence to protocols and effectiveness in managing handoffs.

  • Tracking Software: Log all customer interactions in our CRM system, ensuring every step is recorded from initial contact to final resolution.

  • Status Updates: Keep systems updated with the current status of inquiries, including handoff details and expected resolution times.

  • Other Duties: Participate in our Compassionate Condolences Program and other assigned tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Top Skills: Prior authorization, dual monitor proficiency, customer service orientation, healthcare customer service experience, healthcare CSR.

  • Additional Skills: Experience with Brightree, Vontage, and Microsoft Office.

  • Customer Service Excellence: A strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately document and track customer interactions.

  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless customer support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
