The Role

We are currently seeking a Go-To-Market (GTM) Business Operations Lead to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a GTM Business Operations Lead , you will be responsible for building processes and scaling a unified go-to-market strategy spanning across HumanFirst and ICON Business Development teams to support the distribution of products and services. You will partner closely with the Senior Director of GTM to define and implement strategies and operations associated with pre-sales and post-sales activities, both internally and externally. Your scope includes managing HumanFirst (HF) products as well as joint offerings combining HumanFirst and Mapi Research Trust products for future distribution.

You will serve as the liaison between the business and critical ICON functions like Business Development, ensuring seamless distribution of products and services. Additionally, you will oversee, and project manage key processes to support the sales function, coordinating across teams such as Product to provide subject matter expert support in customer relationships. Your role will also involve defining account strategies for scalability, including establishing appropriate relationship models for customers post-sale, balancing touchpoints and support based on the importance of the partnership.

What you will be doing

  • Understand key elements of the sales cycle to streamline the sales operations process and touchpoints across Business Development and Product teams.

  • Serve as the primary operational partner and liaison to ICON Business Development to coordinate with our team and provide support to help win new business.

  • Define a scalable post-sale process to set up customers for success by informing the strategy for account management as HumanFirst serves more customers.

  • Manage Proposal Development team members to support driving deals across the finish line by partnering closely with Business Development and Legal teams, offering growth and development, mentorship, and guidance as a people manager for this team.

  • Work closely with Marketing and Product to inform and support the development of our collateral and messaging to tell the story of HumanFirst products to customers.

  • Advocate for HumanFirst products and enable the Business Development team to effectively sell our offerings by upskilling internal ICON teams on our value proposition.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 4+ years in management consulting. Ideally, operational experience in go-to-market, commercial, or customer experience in an operational or customer-facing capacity.

  • People management experience preferred.

  • Operational experience setting up new processes and systems from the ground up.

  • Excellence in prioritization, self-direction, and delegating work in a fast-paced environment. You are a natural owner of your work and can flex into cross-functional teams and responsibilities to execute.

  • Detail-oriented project manager who balances the tactical and strategic and can work across the organization cross-functionally to get it done.

  • Experience defining the right operations and strategy for a new business unit, along with the ability to quickly implement those processes.
