HealthPartners Specialist, Security Systems and Technology in Bloomington, Minnesota

HealthPartners is hiring a Specialist, Security Systems and Technology. This position provides the tools to support the Security Systems and Technology of HealthPartners Hospital and/or clinic(s) locations in Minnesota and Wisconsin. This position will also support all related systems and technology in alignment with organization-wide vision and operation, and in a manner that supports the organization's mission to improve health and well-being in partnership with our members, patients, and community. Maintains a service-based culture among departmental staff and contractors that supports the operations of the organization. Supports and maintains systems and technologies that reduce security risks and create a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and team members MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: College Degree and/or combination of 5+ years relevant experience. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Genetec/C Cure Video surveillance and access control certifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Familiarity with compliance matters concerning laws, regulations and internal policies affecting the employment relationship, (including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, discrimination, and harassment laws). Working knowledge or ability to learn laws and regulations related to state and federal criminal codes, O.S.H.A., N.F.P.A., Joint Commission, Uniform building codes Establish and maintain excellent communications with leaders, physicians, and hospital staff Able to manage and/or triage outcomes through others, including staff who are not direct reports Exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion Give oral presentations to a variety of audiences Gain the cooperation of individuals/departments in sensitive or emotional situations Ability to deal with ambiguity Plan (e.g., set objectives and goals, adjust for necessary change, evaluate results, etc.) Think strategically Be patient, member, and customer focused Build consensus among individuals and work groups Research, collect, maintain, and analyze data Analyze and develop creative and workable solutions to risk-related business situations Maintain a high degree of confidentiality Organize and prioritize multiple tasks Able to be flexible in duties and work hours and on call 24x7 Operate standard office equipment and softwar PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: College degree Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Healthcare Security and/or Corporate Security experience preferred 7+ years of strong working knowledge with video management software, cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems and audio/video intercoms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Supports the development strategy for security systems technologies for specific site(s) assigned (Hospitals, clinics, business sites and security operations centers) including, but not limited to access control, video monitoring, visitor management, security hardware, intercoms, reporting software, two-way radio systems, security software and applications. 5% 2. Supports and maintains daily programming of devices related to the following systems: Access control, video monitoring, visitor management, security hardware, intercoms, two-way radios, and software. 10% 3. Coordinates the installation, testing and commissioning of hardware and security technology devices. 5% 4. Coordinates with IS&T for the deployment of new software, upgrades, patches, and firmware versions. 5% 5. Maintains, supports, and leads daily programming and functionality of all security devices. 10% 6. Supports and delivers on the development and maintenance of physical security standards as it relates to security systems devices, practices, policies, and procedures for assigned site(s). 10% 7. As needed, collaborates with assigned sites construction teams, internal/external business partners, to ensure site level execution (planning, designing, and eveloping) as it relates to new builds, expansions, remodels, and refreshes ensuring security systems standards are maintained. 10% 8. Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves systems and hardware failures. Coordinates with integrators for repair and/or replacement as needed. 15% 9. Supports Security Operations Center as it relates to training and development, troubleshooting and education. 5% 10. Assists in the development and delivery of trainings as it relates to new and existing colleagues. 5% 11. Supports the maintaining of inventory and full life cycle of devices. 5% 12. Supports the maintaining of inventory and full life cycle of devices. 10% 13.
