Working in Donaldson's Life Science division means directly serving the Bioprocessing, Food & Beverage, Vehicle Electrification, and Medical Device markets. With a focus on Donaldson's future growth through product development, we are intent on creating new solutions to meet our customers' needs and drive revenue growth. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to lead product development projects from initiation to completion. This is a great role for an individual who is well organized, collaborative, and passionate about driving results in Donaldson's most critical strategic growth area. Role Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects concurrently providing leadership for cross functional global project teams.Heavy emphasis on technical product development. Plan, schedule, and coordinate product development projects to ensure smooth transition of programs from concept to production using effective project management methods. Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, troubleshooting, and coordination of projects from ideation through commercialization/release to production. Ensure all key activities and milestones are met for product development programs; allowing reliable, validated designs to be developed. Serve as a cross-functional project leader with sales, engineering, quality, purchasing, operations and marketing by holding teams accountable for their commitments, resolving issues and leveraging organizational resources. Organize and lead internal activities including working meetings, program performance reporting, major milestones and action item tracking, program risk assessment, etc. Communicate project status and progress to management, including senior leadership, and key stakeholders. Promptly bring to attention any significant deviations to plan that are beyond his/her control and recommend corrective action. Build relationships with key stakeholders, team members, and vendors to enable successful outcomes. Provide leadership and expertise to the larger organization on project management best practices, including RACI matrix, probability/impact risk logs and mitigation strategies, scheduling tools, and process compliance. Work in a global environment - impacting programs that span multiple regions. Engage directly with external partners (including customers) to ensure clear communication on projects. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of work experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams Ability to travel 5% Preferred Qualifications: PMP, or other program management certifications Demonstrated experience in developing, optimizing, and administrating formal engineering change processes and product development/release processes Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluent with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels Manufacturing company experience, with a strong preference toward direct life science background (biopharma, food & beverage bioprocessing, medical device, automotive vehicle electrification) Key Words: PMP, Project Manager, Life Sciences #LI-Hybrid Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
