Donaldson is looking for an experienced Quality Technician II to support our Life Science vertical, serving Bioprocessing, Biopharma, Medical Devices, Food, Beverage, Microelectronics and Automotive in our Bloomington manufacturing facility.Your role will include support for both currently commercialized product as well as new product development. This position will perform quality inspection at various stages in the manufacturing process, provide support on non-conforming material investigation and act as a resource for test activities throughout the product life cycle based on applicable international standards (ISO 9001, ISO13485, 21CFR210, IATF 16949). Role Responsibilities: Completes performance testing such asAirflow, Water Entry Pressureand others as assigned for raw materials, membranes and laminates. Performs resolution activities for non-conforming parts (including returns) which include inspecting incoming parts, writing reports that indicate defects found, conducting meetings, monitoring hold activity, logs, MRB areas, etc. Performs timely and accurate record keeping, including entering test results in RRD and/or special test logs; completing inventory transactions; and maintaining non-conforming records. Support internal product audits as well as quality management system audits along with follow up activities related to findings. Sample preparation and test submissionfor internal and external customers. Preliminary data analysis for engineering tests, production data, etc. Support generation of Certificates of Analysis. Calibrates gauges and test equipment as required by calibration schedules. Participates on teams as a quality resource for areas such as QS/ISO 9001 ISO13485, cGMP, IATF16949, statistical process control, testing, etc. Minimum Qualifications: Two-year Associates degree and/or one plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment, directly involved with quality.
