The Product Management Director (Agile Product Management Director) responsible for portfolio planning and strategy, financial management, technical product ownership and delivery management practices. The leadership team is representative of these cross-functional areas spanning the entire technology domain

Responsibilities :

  • This role acts as a liaison between business and technology providing thought leadership and strategic vision for Technology Products and value-based roadmap delivery.

  • The role will bring forward recommendations for process efficiencies including but not limited to; roadmap development, value-based decomposition, and prioritization.

  • Trusted advisor and partner for the business stakeholders

  • Partners with Enterprise Architecture on Technology roadmap development and maturity

  • Leads a team of Technical Product Owners who are responsible for scope decomposition of work associated with their product family to maximize incremental value delivery

  • Partners with Engineering on solution design as part of decomposition and execution

  • Develops subject matter expertise pertaining to our products and capabilities

  • Drives delivery excellence through use of the Agile methodology consistently across teams and programs

  • Handles escalations of high priority intake items requiring trade-offs in capacity

  • Manages the Portfolio budget vs forecast for their respective sub-domains and teams

  • Provides leadership and executive reporting

  • Partners with Engineering to prioritize and maintain product health and currency

  • Develops and nurtures a talent strategy in the organization to build subject matter expertise with minimal single points of failure

  • Ensures the right blend of skills are available to support successful delivery of solutions

  • The team will be responsible for working across the following product domains, with the opportunity for growth and change as this technology stack and business evolve:

  • Agent Desktop CRM, Agent Desktop Call Control and Gadgets, Knowledge Management and AI

Qualifications :

  • Recognized leader with proved track record of solution delivery and human resource talent development

  • 10+ years’ experience with a proven delivery track record on large scale Technology and business/industry projects and programs, with at least 5 years of experience in a solution leadership role and/or managing large-scale projects and programs

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field is required.

  • Agile Certification certificate is not required but will be reviewed.

  • Deep people and matrix management skills, with a heavy emphasis on coaching and mentoring, and a strong ability to enable informed decision-making and influence leaders within business and technology.

  • Proven ability to resolve difficult and politically-spirited issues and mitigate risks that have the potential of undermining the delivery of critical initiatives.

  • Consistently demonstrate key behaviors and skills such as leadership, communication, influencing, stakeholder/relationship management, thought leadership, and direction setting.

  • Consistently demonstrate key competencies: courage, selecting and motivating matrix staff, managing through systems, managing vision and purpose, and professional savvy.

  • Superior consultative skills in the Product Management profession.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 152,600 - 254,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus and long term incentive plan.
