Infinite Health Collaborative (iHealth) Medical Lab Technician - Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description We are looking for a motivated and quality driven Laboratorian professional who will deliver quality patient care and outcomes in a clinical lab setting. The ideal candidate will possess clear and effective communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, a positive attitude and will work well both individually and in a team setting. This is a full-time position working Monday - Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and Friday from 11:30 am - 8:00 pm. No weekend shifts required at this time. This role will be based out of our lab in Bloomington. Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health) is a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare. Essential Functions: Accessioning and processing of patient samples. Perform testing and review results. Demonstrate laboratory troubleshooting skills and critical thinking. Equipment maintenance & daily QC. Demonstrate a clear understanding and experience in CAP, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines. Assist in supply chain functions and inventory management. Establish professional relationships with vendors, clinical staff, clients and key stakeholders. Must be able to work well independently and in a team setting. Any and all other duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements: Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technician from an accredited school. Medical Laboratory Technician certification from ASCP or AMT. Qualified to work in a highly complex laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA) Minimum of 1 years' experience in a high complex clinical testing laboratory. Prefer 3 years or more. Experience in Chemistry, Immunoassay & Hematology preferred. Essential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines. Complete job-required training. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.) Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance. Work in the clinic, office, or surgery center during business hours Travel independently throughout the clinic, office, or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods may be required. Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Communicate and interact respectfully and professionally. Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations. Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Understand and execute a variety of instructions. Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system.
