The IT Director, Solution Delivery will own the delivery and ongoing enhancement of our enterprise business process-supporting systems to enable our integrated business/technology strategy. This role will be asked to drive improvement efforts that help optimize delivery, demonstrate integrity and improve quality, while managing and mentoring the project delivery teams, this is a key role in enabling our organization to efficiently execute the IT portfolio roadmap. This individual will also oversee the architecture, design, development, deployment and iteration of applications technologies globally to deliver streamlined and effective solutions to our businesses and a unique and innovative digital experience. The role demonstrates alignment between obtaining strategic goals and delivering key business and technology value, and is responsible for the definition and implementation of SDLC processes across the Global Business Systems team. Ideal candidates will be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN office. This role is open to all qualified Donaldson employees. Role Responsibilities Lead and manage the global application delivery teams to provide innovative and essential solutions and services across the Donaldson business supporting the business capability roadmaps. Define, implement and monitor effective SDLC processes across the Global Business Systems teams improving and enabling the requirements, design and testing capabilities including automation, staffing and tooling as appropriate. Deploy traditional project management and agile working techniques, ensure appropriate capacity is maintained and deliver consistent and transparent execution against product value goals, using performance metrics to assess, guide and transform your team's delivery capabilities. Develop and execute Donaldson Global IT policies, architecture guidelines and standards, ensuring all solution offerings are well integrated, highly available & scalable, and adequately monitored for optimal service availability and performance. Assess, select and manage third-party partners, system integrators and service providers for solution implementation, support and consultation, working to ensure partners deliver quality resources and ensure accountability for delivery of goals. Provide senior and executive leadership communication on the team's priorities and activities to allow visibility into the team's initiatives, status, risks, and backlog Inspire, manage, coach and develop a diverse team of analysts, developers, architects, and technology leads, taking responsibility for the performance, personal development and engagement of your teams. TRAVEL: Up to 20% Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in an IT management position Bachelor's degree, preferably in a relevant field e.g. information technology management, computer science, finance. 5+ years of experience leading an ERP applications delivery team, with a strong preference in Oracle EBS R12 supporting OTC, ATC, PTP, PTM processes. Professional experience working with core enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, PLM, and eCommerce. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of core manufacturing business processes and operations, along with the strategic use of technology to drive those operations. Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling and verification. Prior experience working in the life sciences arena would be beneficial Ability to communicate up and down the management chain, providing the appropriate level of detail and foc s on the right information. Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices. Strong knowledge of hardware and software evaluation principles and practice. Proven project planning and management experience.
