The Cigna Group Director Digital Product Strategy in Bloomington, Minnesota
As the Director of Digital Product Managemen t, you will join a team transforming health care and health services for over 170M people worldwide. Our product team is constantly innovating and expanding into new verticals and capabilities in addition to building and maintaining some of the best-in-class healthcare brands and products in market. Your job will be to drive the strategy and lead, through your team(s), delivery of multiple growth products we are developing to offer the market, working closely with our business partners to guide the long-term roadmap and vision for our digital and member solutions. In addition to being the expert on the digital product team for growth businesses, customer journeys and pain points, you will be our representative to multiple business stakeholders. You will report to the Managing Director of Consumer Growth Digital Product.
Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Product Managers at Evernorth drive product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for our members, clients, patients and practitioners
As a Director you are accountability for translating higher-level strategy into measurable outcomes for you and your team within one of our largest sub-domains and lines of business
You will work closely with leaders across tech and business to set long-term strategy and near-term commitments
You’ll work directly with Engineering, Design, User Research, and Data Science, as well as with Sales, Support, and Marketing to ship game changing products
You will evangelize the Digital Product Management job family internally and externally
You will be a leader in setting the gold standard for cross-functional collaboration and optimization for people, product, and process in your organization and beyond
You will build, mentor, and lead a world-class team of Product Managers
You will define and deliver compelling product roadmaps based on customer needs and strategic opportunities that set us apart in the market and unlock new value for the business
You will build alignment across product teams and cross-functional leaders through clear communication and strategic influence
Qualifications & Experience
Must have 5 to 10 years of experience in this space.
Experience in product leadership roles including shipping and managing products that serve 10-100M customers regularly
Experience managing large teams within a matrixed organization
Experience and comfort reporting to Executive Leadership Team members where appropriate
Demonstrated results in being able to think strategically, anticipate future consequences and trends, and incorporate them into both a short-term and long-term strategic plan
Mastery of both product discovery and delivery including fluency in design thinking and lean start-up methodologies
Strong analytical mindset with an emphasis on leading and teaching test-and-learn within your teams
Emphasis on coaching junior product talent and supporting them as they develop and hone their craft
Strategically minded with the ability to connect dots and translate them into a cohesive roadmap
Entrepreneurial with either startup experience and/or driving new initiatives within a large organization
Experience in healthcare or a related space preferred, but not required
Track record of working well across engineering, data science, design and lines of business
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
