About the Role:

As a CBRE Financial Operations Supervisor, you will coordinate the completion of a variety of real estate accounting transactions. This will include vendor invoice processing, 1099 and tax processing, lease administration and cash receipt applications and collections.

This is a hybrid position, and we will require you to come in office at least 2 days per week!

What You'll Do:

  • Resolves and responds to raised issues and requests from financial reporting teams, including answering questions from other departments, locations and divisions regarding various accounting issues and reports. Researches open issues and recognizes potential issues and/or conflicts so corrective action can intercept and minimize issues.

  • Supervises the work and performance of staff responsible for processing financial operations functions. Collaborates with Manager to establish performance objectives for department staff.

  • Develops and implements spreadsheet or system generated reports used to supervise transactional activity, process/procedure manuals, and error resolution logs to resolve focus areas of training for staff. Monitors the security of financial information, equipment, and supplies.

  • Develops and conducts applicable team trainings for the financial operations team. Analyzes and troubleshoots issues related to processes and recommends and partners with management to implement process improvements by applying Lean Six Sigma methodology.

  • High school diploma or (GED) required. Associate's degree with concentration in Business or Finance preferred. At least 6 years of administrative or financial operations support; or combination of education and validated experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts in depth financial analysis.

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents and address problems involving several options in situations. Requires experienced analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Possess comprehensive analytical skills, and interpret business documents.

  • Ability to effectively respond verbally or in writing to basic inquiries. Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.
