The Assembly Technician will closely work with engineering and technical staff to develop procedures and processes for new products. Donaldson Assembly Technicians are responsible to efficiently perform all tasks, keep accurate records, follow all procedures and policies, while focusing on first pass yield. The selected candidate will have technical and mechanical skills to build and assemble medical components and devices in a clean room environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assemble medical components and/or devices in a cleanroom environment Able to perform repetitive work according to set procedures, sequence and pace Understand material properties and effect it has on quality and the process Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives in order to enhance production processes to achieve quality and profitability metrics Maintain accurate records to ensure quality documents are accurate, all parts are traceable and quality issues can be addressed to assure the quality of all products Pull samples for quality control testing Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations Effectively documents job completion paperwork Train new team members on equipment operations and work procedures as needed. Other duties as assigned Requirements: High school or equivalent One year of work experience inmanufacturing Strong attention to detail Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions, as well as understand verbal instructions in English Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to all levels of manufacturing management in both written and oral form Experience with hazardous solvent waste containment and disposal Experience with PPE and safety procedures; including spill management and cleanup Ability to handle solvents and other flammable materials responsibly and safely Employment opportunities for positions in the United States may require use of information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
