Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Semi-Conductors and Electric Component Manufacturing industry, located in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role involves managing and maintaining receivable policies and procedures, credit and collections best practices, as well as overseeing the company's receivables process.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain receivable policies and procedures, considering revenue recognition requirements

• Assist in establishing credit and collections best practices for the department and company

• Maintain up-to-date customer account information, including credit data and client specific requests

• Monitor all customer receivable balances to ensure payments are made according to contractual terms

• Apply payments and process account adjustments, credit memos, and write-offs, communicating issues that may be associated with revenue recognition

• Process credit applications and analyze credit information to determine risk

• Collaborate with the Customer Service department in establishing new customers and processes

• Contribute to the entire Finance department by assisting with other general tasks as assigned by management

• Utilize software tools such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for account reconciliation and managing Accounts Receivable processes

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Semi-Conductors or Electric Component Manufacturing Industry.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR) management.

• Demonstrated experience in Billing, Cash Applications, and Cash Collections.

• Expertise in Commercial Collections is essential.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for financial management and data analysis.

• Experience with Oracle and SAP for business process management.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with the team and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
