Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. The role involves processing vendor invoices, facilitating vendor payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining efficient vendor relationships. You will also be expected to support audit processes and collaborate with various departments for smooth and accurate payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of incoming vendor invoices with company policies.

• Facilitate the timely processing of vendor payments including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.

• Maintain and update payment schedules to ensure all vendor obligations are met on time.

• Reconcile accounts payable aging reports to ensure the accuracy of outstanding liabilities and resolve any discrepancies.

• Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing disputes or payment concerns.

• Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records, including supporting documentation.

• Assist in preparing accounts payable reports for management and auditors.

• Provide support during internal and external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Collaborate with other departments such as Purchasing, Receiving, and Finance to ensure smooth and accurate processing of payments.

• Assist with projects or initiatives aimed at improving process efficiencies and compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position.

• Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation.

• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP).

• Proficiency in performing Check Runs.

• Ability to effectively Code Invoices.

• Strong Data Entry skills.

• Experience in Invoice Processing.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle software is preferred.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software.

• Familiarity with SAP software is a plus.
