This role functions on the Orthopedics/Neuroscience unit in Bloomington Hospital. Ortho/Neuro consists of 23 beds where we specialize the treatment of patients with neurological or orthopedic conditions. Team members are encouraged to be life-long learners and to pursue certification in their area of specialty. The Ortho/Neuro team has the distinction of being recognized by the Joint Commission as one of a select number of certified centers for hip and knee replacement and as a Primary Stroke Center in the United States.

Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
