See what it's like to work at GROWMARK: https://youtu.be/CSVMnKCySsY * PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT* Under the general direction of the EVP, Chief Operating Officer, oversees the company’s enterprise marketing and wholesale business unit strategy. * Leads Business Unit VPs in establishing long-term product portfolio, placement, and marketing strategies designed to achieve business objectives. * Collaborates with Member Resources to ensure alignment between wholesale offerings and initiatives and member strategy and sales objectives. * Provides leadership and direction to the Enterprise Marketing, Design, and Production teams to ensure marketing campaigns are executed in a consistent, effective, and strategic manner. * Ensures Wholesale Business Unit alignment to the GROWMARK enterprise strategic plan. * SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIP* This position is responsible for the overall supervision, management, development, leadership, and strategic direction to the employees of GROWMARK Enterprise Marketing, Design, and Production Services teams. * ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* Leads GROWMARK’s wholesale business unit alignment to enterprise strategy and supports product division peers in establishing projects and KPIs which accomplish strategic objectives. Collaborates with the SVP, Corporate Strategy& Logistics in the development of the enterprise strategic plan and ensures wholesale business unit alignment to the enterprise plan. Drives annual enterprise brand and product marketing strategy process by overseeing cross-functional collaboration of business unit leaders. Provides strategic leadership and direction to the development and implementation of FS and GROWMARK brand multi-channel marketing programs that drives sales and builds customer engagement and loyalty. Assures that the GROWMARK System’s marketing thrust is creative, focused, branded, effective, and coordinated across all divisions. Leads cross-divisional collaboration with Member Resources and field staff teams to ensure product marketing strategies are aligned, properly resourced, and executed to drive System-wide results. Directs the processes and relationships for identifying, assessing, managing, and leveraging external expert agencies, consultancies, and resources. Drives the adoption of market insights, customer and prospect data, and segmentation in setting brand and product marketing strategies. Collaborates with communications department regularly to ensure alignment of messaging to both internal and external audiences. * OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS* Evaluates and makes proactive necessary organization structure changes that are in alignment with the overall enterprise objectives and goals that support and drive Operational Excellence. Develops budget and approves expenditures within authorized limits to support marketing services functions. Prepares and administers the division’s strategic and annual plans and budgets. Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team. Performs all other duties as assigned. * REQUIREMENTS* Normally requires a college degree in communications, strategy, marketing, business, or related field and at least ten years of business leadership experience to demonstrate the ability to provide communications and marketing leadership to the GROWMARK System. Understanding of communications and marketing-related areas including communication planning; public relations; advertising; branding; marketing program execution, research and strategy; promotions; building information networks. Demonstrated knowledge of compliance needs, change management, strategic planning, budgeting, and communications. Demonstrated ability to provide proactive leadership. Proven supervisory and leadership skills including staffing, orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, training, and development, etc. and the ability to achieve results through others. Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills. Demonstrated planning, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills. Proven team building skills and the ability to work both independently, and in a team-oriented environment. Proven computer skills and the ability to use a computer to enhance business processes. Must have a valid passport and ability to travel overnight for business & work extended hours, plus a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
