We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the IT industry in Bloomfield, Connecticut. This role requires onsite, 3 times per week.

We are seeking a dedicated Sr. IT Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing various IT projects, assembling project teams, and acting as a liaison between technology/business stakeholders and Senior Leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct project activities utilizing the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Assemble project teams and assign individual tasks under the guidance of Senior Leadership.

• Develop project schedules and secure necessary resources for project execution.

• Communicate the business case to the project team to facilitate decision making and prioritization.

• Act as the bridge between technology/business stakeholders and Senior Leadership, providing updates on project status, issues, and risks.

• Create, maintain, and update project plans to ensure effective financial forecasting and tracking.

• Coordinate with other technology and business organizations to agree on the project scope and secure resources.

• Review and evaluate work done by the project team.

• Utilize Agile SDLC, SDLC Methodology, SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle, Agile, Agile frameworks, Agile Scrum, Scrum, Scrum Teams, ScrumMaster, and Certified Scrum Master skills in managing projects.

Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Senior IT Project Manager.

• Mastery of Agile SDLC and SDLC Methodologies is required.

• Extensive experience with SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle is necessary.

• Proficiency in Agile and Agile frameworks is expected.

• Demonstrated experience with Agile Scrum, Scrum Teams, and ScrumMaster role is required.

• The applicant must be a Certified Scrum Master.

• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

• The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is required.

• Proven experience in delivering IT projects on time and within budget is necessary.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software development processes.

• The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
