Cigna Data Measurement & Reporting Manager (Government Business Analytics) in Bloomfield, Connecticut
The Cigna Government Business Segment Data & Analytics (GBS D&A) organization offers Medicare solutions that provide actionable insights to internal and external business partners and customers that help reduce health costs, improve outcomes, provide financial security and measure and forecast business performance.
This position is a hands-on role, leading a team of high performing individuals, responsible for the end-to-end design, development & deployment of reporting & analytics solutions enabling the Customer & Client Service Experience teams to make sound business decisions.
Combines complex IT capabilities with business process knowledge to perform research, evaluate, document, & present analysis of complex / multiple sources of health care and/or clinical data, & make recommendations based on relevant findings to drive the decision-making process
Data Modeling and Report creation in support of various claim reprocessing recoveries, impact assessments for defect resolution, remediation initiatives, etc.
Maintains reports of customer performance, quality over monthly, quarterly and annual periods for trending and works with other business partners to resolve and communicate solutions as needed
Responsible for planning resource needs, training and performance
Provide a high level of expertise in both analyzing health care data & information systems.
5+ years of programming experience required
Must have strong SQL skills and experience developing complex queries; experience with other analytics tools highly preferred
Proficient in data querying/statistical analysis
Experience with creating Tableau dashboard highly preferred
Preferred experience in healthcare & business intelligence analytics / reporting
Strong analytical, synthesizing, & problem solving skills with emphasis on utilizing business processes & technology to solve business problems
Demonstrated ability to work at both conceptual & detailed levels
Creative thinker with ability to think outside the box & translate strategies into actions
Must possess strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong, clear, concise, and analytical written and oral communication skills
This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
