We have partnered with a client of ours to assist finding a highly qualified Production Shift Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, proven leadership, and great organization skills in a fast paced environment.

Job Title: Production Shift Coordinator

Location: Bloomer, WI

Pay Range: $28-32/hr

Shift: 2nd

What’s the Job?

• Strongly motivate, educate, train and provide guidance to production staff

• Ensuring production is meeting requirements for volume and efficiency

• Ensure that safety and health concerns are being met in all activities and safety precautions are being taken by all workers

• Collaborate with teammates to achieve production and safety goals

• Promoting an inclusive workplace culture that supports safety, positive energy, and professionalism

• Conducting performance evaluation and making recommendations of assigned staff at the discretion of the Plant Manager

• Promoting continual KPI improvement and actively contributing to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability

• Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive projects and team excellence

What’s Needed?

• Previous experience in production management (3 years minimum)

• Ability to be able to move around on cement production floor for 12 or more hours, ability to lift and move up to 65lbs, maneuver up and down stairs as needed, safely work around hot surfaces and rotating equipment

• Ability to frequently talk and hear in manufacturing setting, visually inspect product, and work in an atmosphere with multiple temperature settings

• Proven safety habits, leadership abilities, proven professional behavior, and staying on schedule

• Additional education in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Management (preferred)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience
