Our client, a wholesale tire distributor, is seeking a General Warehouse Associate that has forklift experience to join their team across many shifts! As a Mixing Center Associate, you should have good energy, ok with heavy labor work and at least 1 year experience operating forklifts, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mixing Center Associate

Location: Blakeslee, PA

Pay Range: $17-$19

What’s the Job?

• Prioritizing and picking material to fill orders, loading and unloading product on delivery trailers/containers and maintaining, handling and moving the physical inventory within the Mixing Center

• Must be comfortable with high reach up to 40 ft in air.

• stage product for outbound loading; handles all units with care and concern at all times

• Reports any overage/shortages of units to designated Lead Person/ Operations Supervisor; may submit regular reports of damaged, and defective product from normal flow of inventory

• Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in terms of amount, size and type, informing Management of inventory and supply shortages as well as assisting in actual periodic inventory counts as needed

What’s Needed?

• occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Operates powered industrial equipment (forklifts,highreach, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner; demonstrates commitment to all safety standards at all times

• periodic facilities maintenance and/or custodial/housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning the loading dock and area surrounding building; keeping floors clear of debris, and assisting in daily shift closures

• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
