Position Description At the Anoka County Job Training Center, we are committed to empowering individuals and supporting employers through comprehensive workforce development services. We are looking for a dedicated Program Eligibility Supervisor to lead a team responsible for managing employment and training program eligibility and operations. This role ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Additionally, you will oversee the integrity of data entry within various Management Information Systems by developing and implementing department policies and procedures that align with state and federal guidelines. This is a full-time, exempt, hybridposition. Interviews will take place the week of September 29th, 2024 for those selected to move forward in the hiring process. Pay & Benefits Salary: $70,012 to $84,011 ($33.66 to $40.39 per hour). 2024 Anoka County Salary Schedule Grade 34: $70,012 to $98,009 ($33.66 to $47.12 per hour). 24 days of paid flexible time off and up to 12.5 paid holidays. Advancement/professional development opportunities. Work Location This position will work at Blaine Human Service Center, located at 1201 89th Ave NE, Blaine, MN 55434. This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work, with some days working remotely and some days working in the office. Expected work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Job Duties and Responsibilities These examples are not all inclusive and are intended to be illustrative of primary responsibilities of an Anoka County Supervisor, Program Eligibility. Develop, organize and monitor operations ensuring all intake, follow up systems, data entry and enrollment into employment and training programs are compliant with local, state and federal regulations. Train employees in eligibility and case management for a variety of state and federal programs. Develop and implement intake and eligibility policies and practices. Supervise the collection, entry and reporting of participant data for all programs. Ensure quality and integrity of data captured. Create and submit reports specific to program outcomes. Resolve issues between agencies and promote effective working relationships ensuring efficient services to the public. Write memos, letters and design manuals. Supervise, train and review employees. Provide work schedule, review timesheets, and communicate initiatives to employees. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Requires a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience. In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed Degree in Education, Human Services, Social Services or related field. Previous leadership experience. Knowledge of complex Workforce Inves ment and Opportunity Act (WIOA), State and Federal employment and training regulations. Experience with determining eligibility for Federal and State Funded Programs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Physical Demands and Work Conditions Standard office environment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus, such as to work on computers. Ability to see colors, shades, and brightness. Hearing abilities required for general and phone communication, signals, and machine sounds. Assignments are sedentary, occasionally alternating between sitting, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling as required to perform job responsibilities. Frequent wrist and finger manipulation to complete computer work. Occasional lifting of 10-20 lbs. Equipment used includes computers, phones, and standard office equipment. Occasional travel to other county work sites as needed. Travel between work sites may require driving a county vehicle and/or a personal vehicle.
