The Estee Lauder Companies Director, North America & Global Experience Centers, Gifting, Eventing - Aveda in Blaine, Minnesota

Short Description

The main purpose of this position is to develop Marketing programs for Aveda Experience Centers, Gifting and Eventing globally while also executing in North America. The role reports to VP Channel Marketing

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and bring to life the unique Aveda consumer experiences across all ECS globally

  • Develop and execute GTM plans for all NPLs, commercial innovations and seasonal moments to life in ECs globally

  • Partners with Retail Ops and Marketing Teams to develop and execute seasonal programs including promotions to create and elevate brand experience in EC’s

  • Develop and execute all collateral, mailers, etc. that are needed to drive consumers to EC’s to ultimately drive sales

  • Spearhead gifting and events strategies for the brand globally

  • Lead the development of the global EC strategy to drive traffic and transactions in all Aveda Experience Centers

  • Lead the marketing and event strategies for Experience Centers- collaborate with the Education team

  • Identify strategic gifting and sampling to drive growth and profitability

  • Develop and analyze a global strategy for Aveda’s holiday gifting opportunities

  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (online, FSS, retail ops) to foster strong partnerships and strategically plan annual activation calendars that drive EC retail sales

  • Partners with Stores and Education teams to ideate and execute best in class in-store and virtual events

Qualifications

  • 10+ years professional marketing campaign development experience

  • Global experience

  • Solid understanding of free standing stores and eventing

  • Knowledge of retail industry technology and trends

  • Must possess strong digital marketing experience and analysis skills

  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and detail orientation with strong problem-solving capabilities

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take complete ownership of projects

  • Must have ability to think strategically and to conceptualize and implement new ideas

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with others and drive a timeline

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent team player with the ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally
