NORTHWESTERN ENERGY Intern Construction Engineer in BLACK EAGLE, Montana
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
- Engineer major required
- Must have completed Freshman level or above by start date
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must provide GPA in Resume upon application
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a good safety record
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong customer service and computer technology problem resolution skils
- Ability to lift materials up to 35 pounds
- Ability to pass an employment physical, a drug test and a background check
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Support engineers in design of electric and natural gas facilities for new construction, relocates, and capacity projects
- Work with new service requests, assist in providing services, checking site locations ahead of crew for efficiencies
- Assist customers with NWE's New Construction process
- Work with customers on growth orders and construction estimates
- Research company records on vintage gas pipe to determine replacement plans
- Work on infrastructure mapping/GIS information to improve data
- Participate in organizational work meetings
- Adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct & Ethics
- Ensure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's values, mission, and strategic business objectives
Temporary position, will work May - August full-time (40 hours per week).
$20.00 per hour.
