Job Description

Are you passionate about driving front-end innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to create highest possible impact? Do you have experience with ideating and conceptualizing new growth options?

As Lead Innovation Specialist you will join Grundfos Innovation lab, anchored in Group Technology & Innovation (GT&I). Our aim is to Imagine, explore and demonstrate ambitious future growth options for and with our Business Divisions. In this role you develop and implement best-in-class innovation management methodologies, and in collaboration with a broad stakeholder landscape you work to ensure customer value centeredour concepts.

What is the job about?

Here, you develop and execute best in class ideation setup with senior stakeholders from Grundfos Business Divisions and GT&I, rethinking application of AI towards process and innovation concept enabling fact-based decision making, faster iterations and stronger validation.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead innovation excellence within Innovation Lab by continuously engaging in the development and execution of innovation concepts that align closely with customer needs, incorporating best practices from leading companies in the field.

  • Champion high levels of customer interaction and ambition in concept validation, business model exploration, and impact assessment.

  • Explore, train, and implement new innovation practices focused on value proposition and business model development, with a particular emphasis on leveraging AI for Innovation.

  • Lead idea selection and concept development through example and guidance, enhancing the quality of the idea pipeline and the progression of concepts. Working with and gradually reducing high uncertainty levels across desirability, feasibility and viability is foundational to everything we do.

About you

With a strong business and customer-oriented approach, you ensure that actions align with the needs and expectation of both. You excel at driving discussions and executing plans when engaging with larger groups, ensuring outcomes and progress are achieved. Your creativity, empathy, and open-mindedness allow you to work effectively with input and ideas from people with diverse perspectives.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • Master’s degree in e.g. Business, Design, Engineering, social sciences or equivalent.

  • Several years of experience in innovation management incl. idea incubation processes/methods, and/or new business development.

  • Preferably experience from a matrix organization or understanding of different organizational departments and functions.

  • Ability to understanding and converting best practices into concrete solutions tailored to specific contexts.

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.

  • Willing to travel at least 20 days pr. year.
