Guest Services Operations System Manager- Giants Ridge in Biwabik, Minnesota

Compensation Amount: 60,000.00 USD Annual Job Summary: Under the direction of the Property Controller, the Operations Systems Manager provides hand-on assistance to staff with installation and integration processes, security issues and program updates. This position provides training, technical support and troubleshooting to other staff members. This position makes recommendations to guide future technology needs. Salary is commensurate with experience $60,000 to $70,000. Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS * Monitors computer system operations to ensure that established standards of service are being maintained. * Verifies that processing operations are running correctly. * Assists in the development of written procedures and checklists of operations systems. * Inventories, tracks and orders supplies; receives and maintains supplies, as assigned. * Monitors and implements necessary operations systems updates. * Assists in the recovery of lost or corrupted data; acts as the main point of contact during operational problems and provides support, as needed. * Works with vendors to perform periodic maintenance of operations systems. * Answers employee questions about normal operational procedures and helps resolve common problems. * Maintains various records, files and logs related to computer operations systems and assigned activities. * Provides recommendations and suggestions for improvement. * Coordinates with different department managers to ensure proper training for employees. * Communicates with management company and state employees to ensure proper functionality of computer system operations. * Attends meetings and trainings to maintain current knowledge of related computer operation systems and related software. * All other duties as assigned. SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE * Bachelor's degree or Associates/Technical education or equivalent work experience in IT related field. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Good social and presentation skills. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. * Proficient in technology including Microsoft Office application, Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, basic IT diagnostics. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS * Ability to sit at a desk in front of a computer for long periods of time. * Ability to travel between worksites. Must posses a valid driver's license. * Reading and writing work-related documents in English. * Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of coworkers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by coworkers in English. * Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees. * Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 15lbs. occasionally, up to 30 lbs. infrequently. * Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. * Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch. * Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects. * Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform duties.
