Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and fuel problems on motorized power equipment
  • Discussing equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
  • Performing service calls on the road
  • Performing routine engine maintenance (lubricating parts, replacing spark plugs, testing and inspecting engines for malfunctioning parts, repairing and replacing worn/defective/broken parts, and reassembling and reinstalling components and engines following repairs)
  • Cleaning up after each project, keeping indoor and outdoor workstations clean and clear from obstructions, and maintaining clean and working service trucks
  • Prioritizing your work schedule, especially during busy seasonal times
  • Assisting in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
  • Clearly communicating with the Service Supervisor and Parts department to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
  • Record keeping accurately, including inspecting, test results, work performed, and parts used
  • Assisting as sales support if needed
  • Completing related tasks as assigned

  • Lawn Mowers
  • Various other equipment with 2 and 4-stroke Engines

You'll Need:

  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • To be willing to work indoors and outdoors in all seasons

We'd Love if You Have:

  • Engine certification
  • Computer skills
  • 2+ years of experience working with gas and small engine repair
  • Customer service skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Stand and walk for up to 10 hours
  • Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
