Senior Pension Project Consultant

Do you have the skills needed to coordinate significant pensions data cleanse projects?

We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a newly created team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our Birmingham, Sheffield or Glasgow offices.

What the day will look like

  • Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, to explain our work and help them make decisions.

  • Coordinating a portfolio of data cleanse projects – determining the best way of approaching these, ensuring they are running smoothly, and solving any problems that emerge

  • Developing others in the team

  • Leading or inputting into process improvement activities

  • Working with wider management to meet our business objectives

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon

  • Be willing to improve processes and adapt to change

  • Have experience of data cleanse projects, such as GMP rectification, re-tranching projects, and buy-in to buy-out data work

  • Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects

  • Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate
