Our PC Hardware/Repair Technician support end-users by remote support and occasionally at the client’s site. By working within many client environments and as a part of a highly-skilled technical team, the chosen candidate will accelerate his/her learning path, technical skill sets, and personal net worth. VeraPro is currently seeking an experienced PC Hardware/Repair Technician to join the team.

Position Type: Full Time with weekend availability

Location: Birmingham, AL

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/light lifting

Travel Requirements: Daily travel between sites in Birmingham, AL

Essential Functions:

  • Perform Hardware repairs on laptops, desktops, and other computer devices as requested. .

  • Diagnose and repair equipment

  • Relocate computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment as needed.

  • Install and configure software as needed.

  • Service equipment according to established preventive maintenance schedule.

  • Maintain accurate updated records of preventive maintenance.

  • Maintain accurate records of time and materials required to perform repairs and service.

  • Re-imaging computers with custom and default images

  • Perform tasks in a high-speed, high-volume environment

  • Ability to meet or exceed daily production goals

  • Maintain a clean organized working environment

  • Additional tasks as directed by supervisors and management

    Minimum Requirements:

  • No computer experience is necessary.

  • Ability to listen to instruction

  • Ability to pass background check, drug screening and fingerprint screening

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate with teammates and supervisors

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs. without restriction

  • State Drivers License

    Preferred Requirements:

  • A+ Certification
