Job Title: Mechanic

Job Description

Building, repairing, and installing trailer beds and truck bodies. Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, and other pressurized systems. Wiring up truck bodies and working with PTO for hydraulic systems. Building, mantling, installing, and fixing diesel motors and hydraulic pumps. Working with hydraulic hoses, filters, cylinders, and connectors.

Hard Skills

• 1-3+ years working mechanically with trucks, trailers, and equipment

• 1-3+ years repairing truck and equipment bodies

• 1-3+ years building and repairing hydraulics and pneumatics

• Ability to build and repair diesel motors and hydraulic pumps

• Perform oil and fluid checks on hoses, cylinders, and filters

• Ability to work with truck and automotive bodies

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Birmingham, Alabama.

Work Environment

Smaller shop but growing industry. They work with agriculture trucks and equipment. Their truck beds get used mainly in the agriculture and construction space, mainly the dumps and flatbeds.
