Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer for a company that provides Transmission and Distribution products and services for the electrical power industry. Our client is located near Birmingham, AL. We are seeking talent who will be responsible for the design of transmission line/substation structures and foundations.

This is a direct hire opportunity. Relocation assistance is available.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural is preferred)

• Registered PE License

• Must have at least three (3) years of civil/structure design experience

• Experience with electric utility or steel pole/structure supplier

• Transmission structure and/or substation design experience

responsibilities:

• Design of transmission line/substation structures and foundations

• Required to interpret written client specifications and be able to assist in the preparation of Preliminary Designs and Proposals.

• Responsible for carrying out project management from onset of the contract through the delivery of the product or completion of the project

• Design of EHV, HV, and MV transmission structures using PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE software
