Summary/Objective

The CityWalk Bartender is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience in the CityWalk social space. This banquet bartender role is essential for creating a positive and welcoming bar experience for guests attending events. Responsibilities include checking customers identification, to ensure they meet the legal drinking age, preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The incumbent will ensure a clean, well-stocked bar area and provide exceptional hospitality. You will be responsible for making drink recommendation, offer daily specials, and maintain the bar inventory. Work is conducted largely outdoors and is a non-tipped position.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities Demonstrates understanding and full performance ability in each of the following: Display a courteous, welcoming, friendly and professional demeanor. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Periodically check on guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met. Continuously monitor guests for potential intoxication and determine when alcohol service should cease. Check customer identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age. Sanitize and clean service areas, bar tops, and surrounding bar areas, including washing glassware and utensils. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) and registers to accurately run tabs, prepare checks, and successfully record all financial transactions. Monitor inventory levels and supplies; assist in ordering as needed. Protect establishment and patrons by strictly adhering and enforcing company policy as well as all state/local Health Department regulations sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies. Stay current with drink trends and menu changes to provide informed recommendation to guests. Promptly report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to the proper personnel.
