Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Customer Service Specialist. This role is within the insurance industry, located in Birmingham, Alabama, and will be conducted fully remotely.

Responsibilities

• Handling incoming and outgoing calls along with voicemail follow-ups related to accounts payable and accounts receivable inquiries

• Triaging multiple email inboxes, responding to questions from clients and internal teams regarding payments and remittances

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action

• Resolving customer inquiries promptly

• Managing tasks related to invoice collection and resolving invoice discrepancies

• Using accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions

• Providing excellent customer service, both written and verbal, in a high volume work environment

• Performing auditing tasks as required.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Auditing procedures

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Ability to manage Answering Inbound Calls professionally

• Competence in Answering Inquiries promptly and effectively

• Efficient in Inbox Management

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in managing both Inbound and Outbound Calls
