About the Opportunity

As a Digital Product Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s digital delivery products as well as a range of product offerings to clients. Your expertise will drive innovation, enhance user experiences, and contribute to the success of our existing clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including asset management, design, AI, data analytics, marketing, and sales teams to create robust and scalable digital solutions. This role will be required to research, recommend and apply/implement existing tools and solutions to a range of problems across business management and engineering delivery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Solution Design Lead

  • Take an active lead in the full lifecycle of digital solution development including: requirements capture, design, integration, deployment, testing, implementation and monitoring.

  • Facilitate workshops with engineering delivery teams to highlight opportunities for digital solutions to increase productivity, reduce administration effort, increase quality etc.

  • Streamline workflows and improve systems integration to reduce administration burden including duplication of effort around data entry

  • Collaborate with account managers to understand client needs and translate them into digital products.

  • Work alongside commercial and marketing teams to commercialise digital solutions for the Nuclear Decommissioning industry.

2) Agile Project Management:

  • Apply Agile principles and practices throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to deliver incremental features.

3) Research and Problem-Solving:

  • Conduct research of existing digital solutions to identify appropriate solutions and support implementation across the business.

  • Where necessary, work with external product developers to develop existing market solutions for the nuclear Decommissioning Industry.

  • valuate and select necessary technical components for solution architectures.

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • A degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is desired. Alternative relevant qualifications will be considered.

  • Significant experience in product development, with a proven track record of successfully bringing products to market and achieving commercial success. Direct sales experience of experience working closely with sales teams to understand the sales process and how it influences product development is highly valued.

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment.

  • Experience of developing system integration platforms/Enterprise Service Bus (ESBs)/SoSs.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of the product development process, from conception to commercialization. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

  • Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop business cases, monetization strategies, and understand market dynamics. Experience of working in a corporate incubation environment.

  • Leadership and Collaboration: Experience leading cross-functional teams and working collaboratively with R&D, marketing, and sales departments.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges and finding profitable solutions.
