Bring your comprehensive understanding of the creative commerce landscape, combined with your brilliant way with words, to write copy for everything from product launch campaigns, to purposeful content that engages with shoppers and builds brand love!

Core Responsibilities

To be part of the conceptualisation and creative development of global commerce campaign content, you will be developing creative copy to be used in communication that embodies the LEGO tone-of-voice. With this role comes communicating ideas clearly and strategically to marketing partners and collaborators. Moreover, you will:

  • Be our creative problem solver & conceptual thinker – when you’re not writing, you’ll dream up and bring to reality new ways to engage with parents and shoppers

  • Write copy, lots of copy – copy in flawless English that inspires, is direct and explains the value of our play. From commerce headlines, scripts, retail in-store, pure player ads, shoppable social and commerce landing pages to all the “R’s” (Q, A & V).

  • Be crafting business driving, portfolio-worthy work by taking an idea from initial concept to final execution and everything that involves – concepting, refining, communicating, refining again, producing, etc.

  • Collaborate with and support art directors, strategists and other teammates in creative workshops and concept development.

The Senior Commerce Concepter and Writer belongs to the group of top creative employees in the LEGO in-house agency. Responsible for ensuring that the LEGO Agency delivers best-in-class commerce communication through integrated creative campaigns & executions. The creative we are looking for should be as strong in ideas as they are in crafting every detail of their copy. You will report to a Sr. Creative Lead and work with a team of dedicated Creative creatives cross our Global teams.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum 3+ years of commerce experience.

  • A strong understanding of how commerce is used across various channels to do everything from establishing shopper awareness to driving understanding and conversion.

  • A self-starter, able to work independently or in a team and a have sharp eye for detail

  • Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

  • Your written English is flawless

  • Experience working with children's brands is an advantage
