You will join our FinTechOps team which is placed within our Infrastructure organization. Our team currently consists of 14 internal colleagues and some external consultants. We support and collaborate closely with various technical product teams, covering network, cloud, hardware- and software asset management.
This role is focused on our Software Asset Management team, where we currently are two senior profiles, an associate, two interns and a Lead Engineer.
In FinTechOps, we have a very open, collaborative, easy-going, and fun atmosphere in our team. We are a very diverse group of people who have a high degree of professionalism, and we always strive to deliver high quality results, but we also love to send GIF’s, crack jokes and drink coffee at the Barista. Spoiler: we have three baristas at LEGO Campus and coffee is free!
Do you have what it takes?
You could come from multiple backgrounds, e.g. IT, Procurement, Purchasing, Finance, Economics or the like, and have ended up in working with Software Asset Management through various career paths.
The most important for us is that you have:
some years of solid experience with SAM and purchasing processes. knowledge of major vendors such as Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, etc. basic knowledge of IT Service Management. an understand of software lifecycle management. a data-driven approach to ensure we always optimize on costs and ensure we make informed decisions. energy towards optimization and automation of processes as well as building strong relations to the people you work with.
Moreover, you are:
meticulous, responsible and follow tasks and projects through.
service-oriented while still being able to say “no” and prioritize tasks and projects.
enjoy working with Excel, PowerBI or other data-related tools.
fluent in English both written and verbally.
As part of your role, you will:
Be responsible for handling many of our license contract renewals.
ensure compliance and optimization of software contracts and perform internal review of software licenses.
engage in vendor related activities and negotiations together with our Procurement area.
look for ways to optimize our Software Asset Management lifecycle and think of how to automate manual processes as much as possible.
support and advice on purchasing processes.
help the product team have a visible view of costs connected to their product as part of the TCO journey.
work with various vendors portals, our license management tool, and ServiceNow as our service management tool.
As a person, you’re a cool communicator who can work with all types of people at any level or function. You know how to ensure governance in a collaborate way, you can communicate pros and cons of various approaches as well as influence and convince people when needed.
