Billings School District 2 is seeking an Instructional Paraprofessional for English Language Learners for various school locations. Schedule: 3.5 to 6.5 hours a day; Monday - Friday. Wage: $15 80 per hour for 120-day probationary period; then $17.56 per hour. Date of Availability: August 2024. Duties: - Performs instructional activities as planned, assigned and organized by professional staff for individual and/or small groups of students. - Helps in the selection, preparation and organization of materials appropriate to students' needs in accordance with designated lessons. - Collects data and reports student progress to the teacher. - Works with the teacher with students who need to learn positive behaviors in order to be successful in the classroom setting. Qualifications: - Must have previous experience working with children. - Requires a High School graduate or equivalent. - Pre-employment physicals are required for this position and paid for by the District. - Requires 60 semester/90 quarter college credits or successful completion of the WorkKeys Test to meet requirement of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Minimum education level required is 60 semester credits from an accredited college/university or take the WorkKeys Test at the Lincoln Center, Adult Education, for $60.00.
