As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production of precision components using Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathe machines. The ideal candidate will have a careful understanding of CNC lathe operations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for each machining operation. Load raw materials into the lathe machine and monitor machining processes to ensure components are produced to accurate dimensions and surface finish requirements. Make adjustments to machine settings, tool offsets, and programming parameters as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC lathe machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged components. Inspect finished components for defects and ensure they meet quality requirements, making necessary adjustments to machining processes as needed. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
