Delek US Holdings, Inc. is a diversified downstream energy company with assets in petroleum refining, logistics, renewable fuels and convenience store retailing. The convenience store retail business is the largest 7-Eleven licensee in the United States and operates approximately 300 convenience stores in central and west Texas and New Mexico.

Job Summary:

Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work. Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

-Applies process engineering principles and expertise during project development and in support of other refinery departments as needed.

-Produces process designs for projects on Capital Plan to improve safety, operation, maintenance, and profitability of refinery within department standards and environmental regulations.

-Provides troubleshooting and optimization assistance for Operations. Conducts daily performance monitoring including energy consumption, yields and “process unit health” performance indicators.

-Generates, analyzes, interprets, acts upon and disseminates these performance indicators and unit operations data for assigned units. Evaluates catalyst usage and performance.

-Identifies long-term improvement opportunities to improve unit(s) profitability and optimize efficiency. Conducts process operations analysis and economic evaluation using simulation software.

Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

At least 2 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience:

2-7 years process engineering experience in refining industry required.

Organizational Leveling:

Requires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities. Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers. Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline. Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
